The Artist’s Loft is a fully self-contained apartment, which has been beautifully restored by hosts, Maria and Terry.
Based right in the heart of Newlyn, (a picturesque Cornish town with a working fishing port), you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to see and do. It’s the perfect base from which to explore beautiful West Cornwall.
Ideally located for The Newlyn School of Art, which is just a 5 minute walk away. A leisurely 20 minute stroll along ‘The Prom’ takes you to the famous Jubilee Pool in Penzance. Just another 5 minutes and you’ve arrived at Penzance Harbour with it’s quay-side shops and restaurants.
From the balcony window, you can enjoy unique views over Newlyn harbour and across the whole of Mounts Bay, including St Michael’s Mount.
The wonderfully light and airy loft has its own kitchen, W.C., bath/shower, along with a laptop-friendly work space, one double and one single bed.
The kitchen is equipped with kettle, toaster, cafetiere and hob which is stocked each day with: Tea, coffee (ground and instant), orange juice, organic milk, bread and butter, jam and marmalade, cereals, muesli, granola and free range eggs.
A ‘Continental’ style breakfast is provided in the room so you won’t be disturbed.
The Loft is self-contained with its own locking entrance door.
You access the Loft by going through the main house and climbing two flights of traditional stairs, so if stairs are a problems for anyone in your group then we may not be right for you. However, if that’s not an issue, then it’s well worth the climb once you see the view.
Free on-street parking is available and we are just an 8-minute Taxi ride from Penzance Station, which is less than two miles away.
